Who We Are
Freedom Christian Academy is a Christ-centered hybrid academy built on intentional partnership with families who desire more than academics.
We believe parents are the primary shepherds of their children, and education should form both heart and mind. By uniting the strength of home discipleship with dynamic classroom instruction, FCA is dedicated to academic excellence and spiritual growth. We work alongside parents to build godly character and a deep, lasting faith in our students.
At FCA, faith is not an addition — it is the foundation. Our students are known, challenged, and equipped to think critically, live faithfully, and lead courageously wherever God calls them.
Our Mission
Freedom Christian Academy is a Christ-centered hybrid homeschool academy that partners with families to cultivate academic excellence and discipleship that nurtures godly character and a lasting love for the Lord.
We honor each child as uniquely created by God. With a biblical worldview woven into every subject, our learning environment is dynamic, meaningful, and relational. Guided by teachers who love God and seek their best, students thrive in a classroom setting that fosters healthy friendships and shapes them into courageous, thoughtful, and competent leaders prepared for life.
How the Hybrid Model Works

The remaining learning days take place at home with clear daily lesson plans and support from teachers.

Academic Approach
We believe learning should ignite curiosity and cultivate wisdom. At Freedom Christian Academy, a biblical worldview is integrated into every subject, guiding students to think critically, engage thoughtfully, and pursue truth with conviction.

Faculty/Teacher Bio’s
Angela Kimmich holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture degree and is a licensed Architect. She also holds a Certificate in Ministry and has over 16 years of ministry experience. Alongside her professional background, she is a dedicated homeschool mom of two who is passionate about helping students grow in both knowledge and confidence. Angela loves exploring science and the world around us, helping students see the beauty, order, and creativity of God reflected in creation. She strives to make science engaging, hands-on, and exciting. With a strong love for mathematics, Angela is equally passionate about helping students understand math in ways that make sense to them, building both skill and curiosity along the way.
Cristina Diaz is a mother of four, a homeschool educator of over 13 years, and a youth pastor with 20 years of ministry experience. She holds a Bachelor of Theology and has spent two decades discipling and walking alongside young people in both their academic and spiritual growth. Having homeschooled her children through every stage — including one graduate now pursuing pre-med studies — Cristina brings seasoned experience and heartfelt dedication to the classroom. As a child who once struggled with reading, she understands the challenges students may face. Discovering her love for books transformed her into a lifelong, passionate reader. Today, she delights in helping students uncover the types of stories and writing that awaken their own love for learning. With a whimsical and expressive writing style, Cristina teaches reading and writing at Freedom Christian Academy with the hope that every student grows in confidence, discovers their voice, and learns to value writing as a meaningful and lifelong skill.
Sarah Lehmann brings a unique blend of academic expertise and heart-centered leadership to the classroom, holding a B.A. in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s in Counseling. With 31 years of ministry experience and over two decades dedicated to children’s ministry, her teaching style is defined by an encouraging approach that focuses on building student confidence and unlocking their full potential. She views Language Arts as the vital foundation for critical thinking and effective communication—an essential tool for navigating the world. This commitment to lifelong learning is reflected in her own family’s success; as a veteran homeschool mother of four, she has mentored her children through every academic milestone, seeing one through a Master’s degree and three into their current university pursuits.
